Bias Training is designed to help participants recognize and reflect on their own biases and how those perspectives can influence the way we work, interact, and move through the world. When we hold ourselves accountable for the assumptions we carry, we create space for others to show up fully; beyond appearance, attire, or expectation.
This training does not offer a how-to guide for managing people. Instead, it provides insight into the lived experiences of individuals who often navigate daily life through perceived obstacles and judgments.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Recognize and define different types of personal and societal bias.
2. Reflect on how individual biases influence workplace and community interactions.
3. Identify ways to create more inclusive, respectful environments.
4. Understand the lived experiences of individuals often impacted by visible or invisible biases.
5. Practice self-awareness strategies to reduce bias-based responses.
