Course Description
This course provides supervisors, managers, and team leaders with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to manage health and safety effectively within the workplace.
It explores why health and safety must be managed, including the human, legal, and financial consequences of poor safety performance. Learners will develop skills in identifying hazards, assessing risk, applying the hierarchy of control, and selecting appropriate measures to reduce workplace risk.
The course also examines the responsibilities of managers in planning, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing safe systems of work.
By the end of the course, learners will be better equipped to lead by example, encourage safe behaviors, respond to concerns, and contribute to a positive and proactive health and safety culture.
